Join the Wake County Community Remembrance Coalition for the unveiling of a historical marker to memorialize George Taylor, a fellow member of our Wake County community who was lynched on November 5, 1918. This marker reminds us of Wake County’s history of racial terror, police violence, and lynching. It calls us to work towards a more equitable today and tomorrow.

This in-person event will take place rain or shine at Rolesville Main Street Park. Limited seating will be provided, so please bring lawn chairs if possible. We hope to see you there!
